Public Relation Officer – Government Affairs Team

We have an opportunity for an highly motivated individual to join us in a our UAE Government Affairs team to support day-to-day operations, as a PRO for multiple tasks related to licensing, immigration for different business lines. This includes the company licenses renewal and amendment, vehicle registrations etc. to ensure efficient service delivery

Responsibilities
· Manage the PRO tasks for Government related requirements related to the company.
· To execute all requirements and complete all formalities related to governmental paper work, related to licensing, fleet management etc.
· Partner with other internal teams, to continually streamline service delivery and improve processes and overall user experience
· Be well versed on required HR policies, procedures, and online government systems in order to provide advice on related and current practices and procedures at an advanced level .
· Be knowledgeable of the UAE’s Labor laws and procedures within Immigration and Ministry of Labor in order to process the required documents within agreed SLAs.
· Ensure all queries and complaints are dealt with in a timely manner and be the point of contact for any escalated cases.
· Continuously review systems, procedures and practices to identify shortcomings and recommend best practice solutions to increase efficiency and performance. This includes developing e-smart services and use of online portals to provide efficient services.
· Develops own professional expertise by on-the-job and formal training and developing networking and contacts within Immigration, MOL and GPSSA.
· Participates in regular team meetings, to contribute to group discussions on areas of potential improvements and to resolve issues of a broader policy nature.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Worked as a PRO in other companies across UAE
· 5-7 years’ experience in UAE Government Relations related work.
· Native Arabic Speaker

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Experienced with a depth knowledge in Government Affairs processes including NMC, TRA, DED, MoHRE.
· Ability to build strong networks/ relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
· Proven track record working with multicultural clients / team.
· Experience resolving complex licensing issues independently and taking ownership in unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances
· Experience developing and implementing continuous improvement strategies in matrixed environments
